Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Once again we welcome you to a special meeting of translators and scholars of Tibetan Buddhism, the second in our Translation & Transmission conference series, and look forward to seeing you all for three days of sharing, learning, and meeting of new and old friends. As in 2014, we have a wonderful collection of special speakers lined up for the event. You can learn more about them here. In June 2017 we will all be meeting in Boulder, Colorado, an amazing town we hope will be an inspiration as well as an easier place to visit for many of you. Online registration is required for all attendees, speakers, and staff. Registration will include a conference bag and gifts, access to all sessions and speeches, as well as lunch and tea breaks each day of the conference, along with three special dinners: the opening welcome banquet, the Naropa event dinner, and the closing dinner. If you sign up with an Early Bird Ticket, that’s less than $25 a day. Please understand that this small cost shows your commitment to the conference series and will help to alleviate travel costs for others who need help to attend. There are four types of registration for the 2017 Translation & Transmission Conference: Early Bird ($75), General ($100), Student ($25), and Staff & Special Guest (free). Select a ticket type and the quantity of tickets below and click “Register Now”. Please only register as a staff or special guest if you have been notified that you are an invited guest, staff member, or special volunteer. The registration includes options for the Translator’s Craft Sessions, the Naropa Event Dinner, the Welcome Banquet, gift bags, as well as meals and tea breaks.

Translator’s Craft Sessions & Breakout Discussion Sessions

There will be several opportunities to break into smaller groups or attend special sessions at the conference. In order to plan properly we need to have a sense of attendance at each of the different events. Many sessions will include readings and texts shared by presenters prior to the conference. In order to receive the appropriate information before the conference, please select a class for each session during registration.

Opening Welcome Banquet & Naropa Event Dinner

The Welcome Banquet and Naropa event dinner are free to attend, but we require a headcount in advance to prepare the right amount of food. Please select a banquet option during your registration.
